Pinewood Social has solved the problem that most multi-concept venues don't — making the food worth eating in a room that also has bowling lanes and a swimming pool. The breakfast and daytime menu are genuinely good, better than the format requires, and the kitchen applies the same seriousness to dinner. The cocktail program is thoughtfully built. The coffee program is better than it needs to be given that you're in a bowling alley.
For groups, it's the obvious call — a space that can accommodate a dinner, a nightcap, and a competitive bowling game without requiring anyone to move. For two people on a weekend morning, the coffee and the breakfast menu make it worth the trip on those terms alone.
