Milk & Honey has built its reputation on a prime Gulch location and a butterfly mural that pulls tourists in off the street. The food has never needed to do the heavy lifting and it shows. The biscuits — theoretically the point — arrive with a stale, astringent quality that should embarrass a brunch spot making them daily. The honey butter coagulates in its dish before you can use it.
